Hilton’s Canopy brand has made its debut in Nashville, bringing a new hotel experience to the city’s dynamic Gulch district. Located at the intersection of Division and Overton Streets, Canopy by Hilton Nashville The Gulch features 181 spacious rooms and suites, designed to offer guests a modern, comfortable retreat while immersing them in the local culture. The property offers five distinctive dining experiences, from a Five Points Pizza slice window to a curated coffee bar by local favorite 8th & Roast. Guests can also look forward to a variety of dining destinations, including Silo, COA, and an exciting speakeasy set to open soon.
“Nashville has an incredibly unique energy that can’t be replicated, and we are excited to add to that character with our newest Canopy property,” said Jenna Hackett, Global Lifestyle Category Leader, Hilton. “The hotel has been carefully designed to reflect The Gulch, celebrating its industrial heritage and urban sophistication through its interiors, art collection, and incredible culinary program designed to bring people together.”
A Design Inspired by the Spirit of The Gulch
The design of Canopy Nashville draws on the industrial charm of The Gulch while incorporating contemporary elements to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Inside, the guest rooms showcase reclaimed metal doors, denim-and-leather headboards, and exposed concrete ceilings that reflect the area’s rich heritage. A signature feature throughout the hotel is the custom-designed wooden canopy that crowns each bed, providing a soft, inviting contrast to the room’s industrial aesthetic.
The hotel features 27 luxurious suites, some of which include private terraces with panoramic views of Nashville’s iconic skyline. The two-story presidential suite offers an exceptional experience, complete with a rooftop terrace, a full bar, and a translucent baby grand piano, making it a standout choice for those seeking added space and luxury. Additional suites can be connected for guests needing even more room for special events or family stays.
To complement the unique design, Canopy Nashville offers a range of premium in-room amenities, such as Apotheke bath products, artisanal mini-bars, and signature Canopy robes and slippers. Guests can also enjoy free downtown transportation via a Rivian house car, access to a fully equipped fitness center, and discounted fitness classes at the nearby Rumble Boxing.
Dining Experiences That Combine Local Favorites and Global Flavors
The dining offerings at Canopy Nashville celebrate both local ingredients and culinary trends from around the world. Silo, the hotel’s signature restaurant, will open shortly with one of the largest ground-floor patios in The Gulch. The restaurant will serve a menu of dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and will also offer exclusive drafts from Yazoo Brewing Company, paying homage to the property’s history as the original location of Yazoo Brewing’s taproom.
Later this year, COA will open as the hotel’s rooftop dining destination. With stunning views of downtown Nashville, COA will specialize in elevated Mexican cuisine, accompanied by one of Tennessee’s largest collections of agave spirits. The venue will feature three open-air terraces, a 600-square-foot live agave garden, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to enjoy drinks and dinner while taking in the city skyline.
