Bandar Adnan of AMSA Hospitality Talks Expansion, Talent & Vision at FHS 2025

Friday, June 13, 2025

Bandar Adnan Abdulmajeed is the Chief Brand and Marketing Officer at AMSA Hospitality, a Saudi-based hospitality company founded in 2022. With a focus on managing and investing in hotels across Saudi Arabia, Bandar is dedicated to positioning the company’s projects strategically in the market. He also leads AMSA’s academy to train and uplift local talent, emphasizing exceptional customer service and creating lasting relationships with guests.

Could you share with us your company values and why you’re here at the show?

AMSA Hospitality is a company that operates, manages, and sometimes invests in hotels. We’re a Saudi company, established in 2022. We’re currently focused on the Saudi market, and at present, we have three hotels running. These include Rison at the Art Airport, Rison Medina, and Mercurism in Mushet. We’re here at the show to network, meet industry professionals, and showcase our projects.

How are you finding the show so far? We’re on the second day. Are you noticing a buzz or increased enthusiasm?

Yes, absolutely. Yesterday was quite busy, and today the traffic is picking up even more. We’ve had a lot of successful meetings and generated numerous leads. Such events are excellent for networking and sharing updates on our ongoing projects.

You’re in charge of marketing. How do you find the market at the moment?

Right now, there’s a lot of demand in Saudi Arabia, especially in the hospitality sector. My focus is to position AMSA and our projects strategically in the market. Events like these are perfect opportunities for us to enhance our brand’s presence and reach potential clients.

Every year, the hospitality sector is improving, but are there any specific challenges you feel are affecting the market right now?

For AMSA Hospitality, we focus on secondary cities in Saudi Arabia, where there is a significant gap in hospitality services. This gap provides a unique opportunity for us to expand. The demand is increasing, and with the government’s support, there is strong potential for growth. One of the challenges, however, is the need to educate and train the local workforce to meet the high standards of hospitality. To address this, AMSA Hospitality has our own academy where we train our team and ensure they meet the required standards.

Can you tell us more about what you’re focusing on in your academy? Are you emphasizing customer service or culinary skills? What areas are most important to you as a group?

We’re particularly focusing on the entire customer journey—from the front desk to room service and all other services within the hotel. It’s about making sure our team is well-trained in every aspect of the customer experience. Our goal is to ensure that every guest feels valued throughout their stay.

It sounds like you’re in this for the long term, not just a one-off project. Is building long-term relationships with your customers a key focus for AMSA?

Yes, exactly. We want to ensure that our guests are happy and have a successful journey with us. We train our team to pay attention to every detail, from the front desk to housekeeping and F&B services. Building lasting relationships with our customers is central to our philosophy.
